Visit Garrick’s Temple to Shakespeare

As part of Open House London, Garrick’s temple to Shakespeare in Hampton will open it’s doors to the public on Sunday 18 November between 1pm and 5pm.

The temple is a Grade I listed Georgian garden building built in 1756 as a tribute to Shakespeare by the Ionic style by actor David Garrick. It is set beside the River Thames in restored 18th Century gardens thought to be by Capability Brown.
