Residents in Hampton and Hampton Hill are reminded that the Village Planning Question time will be coming to their local area next week.
The event will give residents the opportunity to quiz the Leader and Cabinet Members from the council about their priorities for their local area.
The Question time will include an update on Village Planning in both villages and provide an opportunity for residents to hear about future collaboration opportunities with the Council and other local organisations.
The event is on the 27th February at the White House from 6pm – 8.45pm.
Cllr Pamela Fleming, Richmond Council Cabinet Member for Environment, said:
“Since we launched Village Planning, we have already been to each area in the borough to meet and engage with hundreds of residents. We want to continue this dialogue.
“I hope that residents in Hampton and Hampton Hill come along to their local events to have their say. We will be there to listen and engage.”
To ensure that a wide of range of topics are discussed on the night, residents can submit questions in advance. These will be covered in the first 45 minutes of the event. The second hour will be opened to the floor enabling further questions on other topics. An independent chairperson will host each event.
Each event will be streamed live on the Council’s Facebook account. And residents unable to attend can ‘Tweet’ their questions to the panelists during the event by using #VillageQT to the @LBRUT account
