New Twitter accounts for local police teams

Our local neighbourhood police teams have created individual Twitter accounts which they’ll hopefully soon be using to keep residents informed of goings-on around Hampton.

The following accounts are for the areas around the Hampton area;

@MPSHampton
The Hampton policing area covers the rest of Hampton, as well as the Thames Water Works, and the road all the way to Kingston Bridge including Hampton Court.

@MPSHamptonNorth
Hampton North covers the area of Hampton north of Broad Lane, including Nurserylands, Hampton Common, Hanworth Road, Dean Road and up to the big Sainsburys near Apex Corner.

@MPSFulwell
Fulwell and Hampton Hill also have their own Twitter Account to cover Hampton Hill, the high street and Fulwell

Remember, these accounts are not for reporting crime. For non-emergencies call 101, and in an emergency always dial 999.

The Safer Neighbourhood Police Teams are groups of Met police officers dedicated to serving the community. The team is made up of officers based in several areas (or ‘wards’) around Hampton, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

The teams work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide their our policing priorities for the area. This helps them to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining their wider focus on reducing crime across London.
