The box office is now open for the annual and explosive RichDance event which is packed with prodigious talent and choreography.
Never failing to entertain, RichDance is back and bigger than ever before with this year’s programme filled with young talent, dance companies, movers, shakers and dance tips and tricks from those who know best. Now in its 16th year and celebrating dance in all its forms from Street Dance, Ballet and Contemporary Dance, RichDance will take place at the Hammond Theatre, Hampton School on Friday 9 March and Saturday 10 March.
RichDance is part of the borough’s Music and Drama Festival which is being showcased throughout March across the borough. The festival is an annual celebration of the vibrant performing arts culture which thrives throughout the social fabric of the borough.
Cllr David Linnette, Richmond Council Cabinet Member for Culture, said:
“Each year the RichDance festival grows in size and popularity which speaks highly of the quality of performances and the talent on show. The borough has an exceptional level of cultural groups, which work to high standards and I am pleased we can provide a stage for them.
“It is always an enjoyable weekend with a wide variety of performances and dance styles that the whole family can enjoy.As tickets are limited I urge residents who are interested in attending to purchase them as soon as possible.”
